There are four subspecies of ospreys, which are separated by geographic region. This is P. h. ridgwayi which is a non-migratory subspecies. It is distinguised by Pandion haliaetus carolinensis (which occurs in Belize too, in winter) by a unbarred breast and a pale post-ocular stripe. It resides in the Caribbean, with a range that extends from the Bahamas and Cuba to southeast Mexico and Belize.

There are 12 recognized subspecies of the Roadside Hawk (Buteo magnirostris).
The one occurring in north Belize is Buteo magnirostris conspectus.

This is Falco sparverius brevipennis which is found in Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire.

There are currently 17 subspecies of the American Kestrel.
This is Falco sparverius sparverioides which is found in Cuba, Isle of Pines and the Bahamas.
It's the only subspecies of American Kestrel having two morphs, a white (next photo) and a red morph.
